the FB group

Hey girls! I don't want this to sound bad, but can we make the FB group private? I know there are settings so that it is not a visible group on your main page, and people have to request to join.

I just say this because I don't want all my 300 however many friends seeing that, then coming here, then finding my posts on GP...you get the picture. I like that no one IRL knows I post here, and sometimes the things we post are things I don't really want all my FB friends to see ya know?

If not thats totally cool, I will leave the group, but just thought I'd ask before I did that.

I think it is a good idea. That way everyone will feel comfortable and not want to leave....

no prob deanna! i just set it to public so everyone could easily join it yesterday. i'll change the settings now.

i just changed it. the group is now closed. this is what fb says about a closed group: Admins must approve requests for new members to join. Anyone can see the group description, but only members can see the Wall, discussion board, and photos.

would anyone like to be made an admin?

So what am I doing wrong? I got the invite from Taylor, but can't figure out how to accept and when I tried to post I get errors. Sad

There is link to the Phoenix Nest page under the FB page contact info. Should we remove it? Can't anyone click it and see the nest?

When I click on the link it brings me to the page and now says the grop is closed and private. There's no place to respond to the invite. I'm also doing this on my phone so maybe that's the problem. FB is blocked at work and my home computer has gone to HP Heaven.

I'm on GP's facebook group and it does give you peice of mind that none of your FB or IRL friends can go wander and see what your posting there. I have a few select people who know we're having issues TTC but i hate for EVERYONE to know.
