Regarding ?Frito-Lay, Inc.'s decision to market Sun Chips in a PLA (polylactic acid) bag:?

Re: The Sunchips compostable bag
I can't find mine in my composter at all. Doesn't mean it isn't there, but it seems to be breaking down in mine.
Exact same argument as to why ethanol 85 gasoline and using corn to make biodiesel isn't great either. It's like using petroleum to make gasoline w/ a little less oil in it.
Hence those rolling around in SUVs that take E85 aren't doing us any favors.
