POLL: Non-EF things you can't live without
How about this for a poll: What are the non-EF items you just can't live without? Ours is definetely Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper. Recycled TP ain't.gonna.happen.

Re: POLL: Non-EF things you can't live without
ditto- Charmin tp. I also have had bad luck w EF drain cleaner and oven cleaner.
And I'm huge sucker for Starbucks... its not that i don't like my local coffee chains. They're great. But Starbucks is RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO MY OFFICE.
Q-tips- I know you aren't supposed to stick anything in your ears, but I use them after I shower.
Meat- I know it would be a lot more EF to go veg, and I didn't eat any red meat for 12 yrs, but I went back to it.
I can't get my H to give up paper towels. I just buy the cheapest, thinnest ones now.
We use Ziploc bags for some stuff. I also can't give up antiperspirant in my deodorant.
We use the generic version of Scott tissue because of our septic system. Recycled is certainly no worse than that!

yeah, I need Charmin 2-ply.
Also, apparently, tampons. I had one too many overflows at work (so like, 2, lol) with the Diva Cup, and I had to go back. I am using cotton tampons w/ cardboard applicators now, though.
I still need some paper towels - for cat messes and to clean the toilet.
I wear disposable earplugs.
There are really probably a lot of things, but these are the ones that come to mind.
Is this really not eco-friendly, or do people just have a health concern w/ it? Anyway, I need it too.
My SUV. We use the functionality of it all the time hauling stuff (or people or dogs) around, as well as hauling tools/materials for work. I will probably always have an SUV, hopefully a hybrid next time.
But we use recycled TP! I can't really think of anything else that we do/use that is super non-EF.
Schick Intuition razors
Disposable diapers
My Clean Eating Blog

Regular crest/colgate toothpaste
Antiperspirant in my deoderant (I wear standard drugstore brand, just fragrance free)
Tampons
i also have to have my Degree antiperspirant deodorant---- i've tried crystal, toms, etc. etc. but they just don't cut it, and i can't handle sweating and smelling all day.
also, the drain cleaner and dishwasher detergent- had to go back to liquid plumber (we've only needed it twice in over 3 years- so it's not often at all) and cascade dish detergent because i've tried every EF detergent in my dishwasher and i keep pulling out dirty dishes/glasses/silverware every time. i figure it's better to just run the dishwasher once with cascade then have to re-wash everything 2 or 3 times.
Diet coke
Cereal
iPhone
Drano
I think I'm going to break down and use chlorine bleach in a few limited places, mainly the shower.
Coffee creamer (like Coffeemate).
And DH refuses to buy recycled TP...

i'm a little confused.......the iphone is non-EF? how? i'm not judging, just trying to understand....i've been wanting one, but i'm wondering if i'm missing something here.
