Re: NOT good...

  • Yeah, not good at all. But hey it's cooling down. When I went for lunch, it wasnt that bad. There is also a nice breeze but still you need AC if you live here.

question, should I leave the fan on the AC running or turn it completely off.

I want to maximize our staying cool (or not hot)!

  • that is bad. If you have a home warrenty though you'll have it fixed in no time and who cares then if the whole thing needs replaced. I'd say run the fan if it helps to move the air through the house

  • That sucks, especially with a LO!  I'm hoping we'll actually be able to open our windows tonight instead of running the a/c.

Stacy yeah it broke last year when I was pregnant! The guy told us it was on it's last leg.

So we are kind of hoping that it needs to be replaced, hence why we still have our home warranty!

he says: if it's the a/c thats on the roof - if the fan is working to completely shut it down. it will get hotter faster. if it's a split system - a/c on the ground - it is okay to run the fan.
