XP: Can you recommend a place to stay?
My family is coming to Phoenix area in November (we are surprising my dad with a trip and nascar tickets!). We want to rent a house with a pool for all of us to stay at (5 adults and a one year old). DH, my dad and my brother will be basically at the Nascar races the whole time we're there and my mom and I will be just hanging out with DS (we'd swim and maybe do some shopping if there was anything nearby).
I'm looking on vrbo.com for a house to rent, but I've never been to Phoenix so I have no clue where to begin. If you could recommend a suburb or neighborhood that would be good for us that would be great! We want to be close to PIR b/c the guys will be going there for 3 days and don't want to drive forever.

Since the race will be in Goodyear, I would recommend staying there. Check www.homeaway.com . They have awesome houses for cheap.
DH's Aunt and Uncle got a sick house out in Goodyear last year for really cheap. It was an amazing house!!

K I looked it up... it's not far from ME :-) Remember, I am so far west that if California falls off the map I've got ocean front property here in Surprise :-)
Off of 10, it's my exit and about 5 miles from there... so about 25 minutes from me, not bad!
