DH's anniversary gift

DH and I were talking last night about anniversary gifts and of course he wanted to play 20 questions until he figured out what the gift was going to be.  And now he doesn't want me to spend that much.  But I think I've figured out a new gift. Smile  I can't tell you ladies what it is otherwise he'll know, he gets on here occasionally.

But what are you getting (or have you gotten) your hubby for an anniversary gift?

Re: DH's anniversary gift

  • subsricption to the beer of the month club.
  • I got DH an indigo night print.
  • I need a good idea.  Julie, you need to send me a FB message if you have a good one!

I got him an Indigo Night but had to give it to him early because I also got one for BIL & his wife...

Got him Beer of the Month for Christmas.

I'm thinking of getting him a few good books to take on our anniversary vaca.

  • We decided to get small gifts because we are trying to save money for our big trip to Japan next year and build up savings now that we have a house.

I just got DH a nice t-shirt and he got me a gift certificate for a pedicure.

  • We're not really into getting each other big "physical" gifts for any occasion, we'd rather use that money to go out to dinner and travel.  So for this year I did get him a subscription to one of his favorite magazines (1st year is traditionally paper) and then we went out for a nice dinner on Friday.  We're also going to go on a belated anniversary trip to Boston for a few days in July.

This.  We do a lot of trips and dinners as presents (I think it's just our way of justifying spending the money).   I think for our 1st year (which I realize is like 10 months away) we'll go to a sporting event of some kind - since the tickets are printed on paper!  DH is also impossible to buy things for, so it's also a copout for me to just have us go someplace as his present.
