Sangria served with ________
My girlfriends and I get together about 4-5 times a year always at a restaurant. Due to 'special' circumstances we all wanted to do it at a house and I live in the middle so they are all coming to my place. I don't mind but I am such a crummy hostess.
I was thinking of serving sangria to drink but have no idea what to serve and have them bring to eat. I would love to do a backyard party thing, but weather isn't supposed to be great.ANy ideas of themes or menus...what do I have them bring. I am a little worried. It will be my first party! All help is appreciated.

I think Sangria works well with Mediterranean or Italian food as well (they're the same part of the world as Spain, lots of the flavor profiles and ingredients are similar).
Last time I did a berry red wine sangria (blueberries and strawberries with red wine and grand mariner) and served it with stuffed shells and a antipasto salad. It was a big hit.
