Traveling to Chicago, Where to stay?
I am coming to Chicago for one or two nights next month. Where would be the a good place to stay that is budget friendly? I want to be near shopping, so maybe the magnificent mile? I want to stay in a nice but cheap hotel so I can spend my money elsewhere! Thanks!
Also, what are some good clubs to go to for dancing? Prefer near the hotel?
Re: Traveling to Chicago, Where to stay?
I always recommend people use Hotwire to find hotels. They seem to always have the best deals. Any of the hotels in the Mag Mile/Streeterville/Gold Goast/N. Michigan Ave/Wacker Drive area will be just fine. There isn't really a seedy hotel in the bunch.
not a club person, so hopefully someone else will chime in with recs for you!
Because we're fancy like that.
Not sure what price range you are looking at, but we love Westin on Michigan Ave. Right by everything and a nice hotel.
We signed up with www.spg.com and get points to use on future reservations, which has been great. Now most of our stays are partial points and partial payments.
