Pet friendly hotels near the Grand Canyon?

Hubby and I are doing a stay-cation the last week of the month we figured we might take a one night trip to the Canyon.  It will cost us about $100 to put our pups up at the pet resort (we put them in all day play so they have fun too) so we thought we might take them with us and I'm having a little trouble finding a hotel close to the Canyon that allows pets.  Anyone know of one?  Thanks ladies :)

Re: Pet friendly hotels near the Grand Canyon?

  • I don't know if there is one near, but Red Roof Inn's are one of the most pet-friendly chains of hotels you can find.  Most don't even charge an extra fee for having your Dog.  Super 8s are also usually pet friendly but charge a fee (usually between $5-10).

If you're looking for something a little less chain-hotel-ish check out the Red Feather Lodge.   I think they charge a fee of $10/day.

  • Did you try Expedia and filter it to only include pet friendly hotels?  That's what we always use when we travel with Cash.
