White screen of death on my iPhone: Updated
It fell and the screen is totally white. It can turn on and off and that's all. I can receive calls but can't see whose calling since the screen is completely white.
I purchased that insurance on it...is this something that is typically covered?
I have an appointment today to go to the Genius Bar but I can't call them and ask this question since I can't type on the phone or access the phone pad.

Re: White screen of death on my iPhone: Updated
Dropping it usually isn't covered under the warranty - it's the difference between you doing something to it vs. there being a hardware or software defect.
However, your attitude going into the store and the attitude and demeanor of the person helping you make a huge difference, I've found; sometimes they'll just replace it, even if you dropped it.
