We are on our way back from Traverse City and I hit up four wineries for tasting. Yummmm

I love wine tasting. We have gone every year since we got married. Which places did you go?

We went to Bry's, Black Star Farms, Chateau Grand Traverse, and my favorite Chateau Chantal. I got two bottles of sparkling cherry, a bottle of red, and a riesling.

I love riesling. My favorite place was Circa 45, I think that was the name. Really cute place in the middle of nowhere.

I know, I know... it's probably a sin, but I am not a fan of wine. I have tried so hard to like it and just can't. With that being said, I would still LOVE to go wine tasting though. I've never been. Is it as romantic as I have a vision of in my head?

Eh it probably isn't as romantic as you see on TV. There are lots of other people around and you are just standing up at a bar. Maybe I am unromantic? It is fun because you get a menu and you can pick what you want to taste and the people are all very knowledgable about them.

You know Uncle John's has a Wine Tasting, so, when you take the kids for Cider help yourself to some wine.  They do have a few that are more fruity.  :-)
