Back from "Down the Shore" & witness a cute wedding
Hi! Maybe I should be posting this on "The Knot" - just wanted to share with you all...
My DH and I just got back from the "shore" and at the hotel where we were staying (very clean and casual and inexp. - I've been going there for the past 8 years - even before I met DH) - an older couple exchanged their vows on the beach and then had a "pool party" reception that everyone at the hotel was invited to.
So cute! and very casual and fun. They took over one room of the hotel and set-up buffets and coolers and cupcakes- one of their friends grilled. After their ceremony - everyone (inc. their kids and grand kids , friends etc.) came back and changed into bathing suits and hung out and swam and grilled etc. for the rest of the day.
Was very sweet and could not have been too expensive to do - and everyone HAD A GREAT TIME. It inspired me.

Well... they were lucky re: the weather too. I don't know where everyone would have gone if it had rained/stormed. They were very cute though. I'm sure you'll have a gorgeous fall wedding.
