my job is going to give me an aneurism.....
I'm not going to give you ALL of the drama that is going on with my new job, but this one particular project is a HUGE pain in my ass.
This is the second time that I've been emailed at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon and told that I would be flying out Monday morning and staying out of state for three weeks. Um, Hello?! I have things in my schedule that I need to rearrange!
And not even 10 minutes later, they emailed to say that they got someone else to go. Yeah, thanks for the heart attack too.
This was on top of my field day that included driving almost 6 hours of it
*gah* I need a drink already.
Move along, nothing to see here.....
Re: my job is going to give me an aneurism.....
Shnope - the client just can't get their sh!t together for private or public landowner access and they wanted the job done yesterday.
I'm dealing with this better than I normally would have - now I could care less about how slack the client is and just go with the flow.
Yes, glass of wine, margarita, martini (whatever you drink of choice is) is well deserved in this case!
Hope this weekend goes better for you! Take it easy.
I'm with you!!! On Friday it was announced that they are trialing a program where the we could relocate to be near clients...I hope that works out. I would be the first to volunteer to go. Just being out of the office drama would be awesome!
Hang in there!
Is it possible for you to say no?
At my job, travelling is optional, and when they really want me to go, they give me lots of notice so I don't plan anything for that time.
