How is Owen feeling?
I started my new job yesterday & it turns out I am working w/ the SLP (I was hired as a tutor at an elementary school in Concord, but didn't know specifically what I would be doing). I'm going to be implenting a lot of the oral motor programs which I think will be cool w/ my OT background. I'm doing reading groups w/ 2 classes, writing groups w/ another class & recess duty. I LOVE the kids, they are all so cute! I'm really liking the job so far, it is so interesting.
Owen will start daycare on Monday :-( I'm nervous, but sure he will do well. Since I have to work now, I think this is the best situation.

P.S--Have you heard of "Including Samuel"? He is one of my kids, he is the cutest, I LOVE him!

Hey Mindy, Congrats on the new job, seems like a neat position. That is cool that you get to use your OT background. I don't like doing oral motor stuff. I just never really got into it. I haven't hard of "inlcuding samuel" should I google it?
Owen is doing well, he is getting some of the marks from the hand foot mouth now, they seem to be coming in late, but he feels ok. He is a pretty happy guy! He is trying to pull up to stand, he can do it on the couch or on to me, but has more trouble with like the shelf at school or his push around lion toy.
I am sure Owen will do great at daycare, he will miss you, but he will also love being with his new friends and learning all kinds of new things. Have you been taking him there for visits this week? Does he seem comfortable there?
We are both doing great, we are thinking about going to NH tomorrow to visit the IL's! Woo hoo! Should be ok. I am hoping to get in some outlet shopping!
