Six Flags or Universal Studios??
DH and I have been living here for a year, but are moving back home to MN next summer (2yrs total) and we are trying to see as much as we can while we live here. We still have to see the Getty and a few other museums...but as for adventure parks we would like to know which one is more worth the money:
Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, or Universal Studios
Please let me know! We are trying to find something with more thrilling adult rides, and something less like Disneyland, although that was a good experience. TIA!

I suggest both. If you can they are so different and I heart them both.
But definitely hit up the Getty!
I'm not a fan of Universal Hollywood. I love the Orlando park but the Hollywood one just doesn't have enough stuff to do. I'm always bored after about 3 hours in the park.
I love all of the Six Flags parks. I haven't been to Magic Mtn in a couple of years though.
I like Jayme suggest both Magic Mountain & Universal. ?Have you been to knotts berry farm?
Universal has a great Halloween program, it is called Halloween Horror nights. ?It is much better than knotts scary farm.

Have you been down to San Diego yet? ?You should go to check out sea world. ?Also have you taken a visit to catalina island? ?You could also go to hearst castle up by San Luis Obispo, or the winchester mystery house in San Jose.
Sorry I got off topic but there are so many cool things to see.
If you do take a trip to the Hearst Castle there is a spa we stayed at that is fabulous, it is the sycamore springs spa. ?It is pretty reasonably priced and each room has a mineral water spa.

If you want thrill rides, my suggestion would be Six Flags. Have fun!
