I'm kinda been a lurker here of recent and hubby is making me introduce myself (I'm painfully shy).
Hubby and I live are not your average couple. Got engaged via text message as a joke and then got married at a Monster Truck Show on Valentine's Day to continue the joke by radio DJ's. Looking forward to a wedding that my parents would approve of, since they don't know about the Monster Truck Show yet. They just think that we are engaged.
I have a boring office job as an auditor but I think hubby has the better deal being a cook at Rogue. We get lots of free beer & spirits and since he cooks I'm so spoiled at home with the dishes that he creates.
Looking to connect with more females, since I moved here a couple of years ago and haven't had a good girlfriend outside of my work (and sometimes those relationships can be dicey if the work environment goes bad). Up for most things since I think that is what life is about.
No kids yet, but it'll be soon. I have 12 nieces and nephews so I'm not feeling the rush of it quite yet.
Look forward to meeting y'all more.
Re: Saying Hi & Introducing myself
Hey welcome! I think its funny/awesome you guys have such a cool relationship. My H and I are sort of the same way. We make fun of eachother a lot. So I understand when people don't "get" your relationship.
Oh my god your H works at ROGUE! We go there a lot! You guys should join us sometime for happy hour. We do a rotation through out the city on mondays. We're actually off to HH in a few minutes.
Welcome to the board!!
When are you having the "wedding your parents would approve of"? I think it's great you got married at a monster truck show....will you ever tell your parents?
And I Rogue.
Welcome!
Welcome!! You're secret is safe with me.... lol

A wedding that my parents would approve of is one that wasn't due to a radio contest and "impersonal". It's mostly my mom that wants a to watch me get married (parents were in Hawaii on vacation when we found out that we had won the contest and would be married in a few days). Somehow Mom is down with having the vows exchanged on the beach in swimwear - just as long as she gets to be there.
Rogue for HH is awesome. Would be up for having a few drinks there anytime.
