Earwigs!

anyone else having problems with earwigs? Seems like they came out of nowhere and I don't know how to get rid of them. When I was growing up we lived out in the country and my dad would spray something around the house . . . but he was a farmer with access to special chemicals and I'm guessing it wasn't super eco friendly LOL.

Oh those are so gross. We had a problem a few years ago and just started having Orkin come out then. Chemicals every other month = better for my mental health than a house full of bugs.

We have them too, along with huge ants and spiders.  I thought it was just a perk of having woods in my backyard.  We bought some spray that goes around the perimeter of the house at Home Depot and if that doesn't work we are going to call an exterminator.  I am going to lose my mind from all the bugs!

We have been happy with Orkin, if you decide to go that route. Our service man is very friendly. They always send the same one, so he gets to know the house and its issues.

No issues with earwigs, but we definitely have spider issues. I suspect the spiders take care of any other bugs we might have which is great.  However, the circle of life is not functioning properly in our house as the cat fails to kill the spiders.

I have 1 cat that is a major hunter, however he ate some sort of spider that caused him to have a major reaction - foaming at the mouth, shaking, he couldn't even stand to take 2 steps.  It lasted about 6 hours and scared the crap out of us.  Now I am afraid to let the cats eat the spiders lol.

I have a roach issue, and it disgusts me.  I use the pest control company that comes to the office.  It was just easy that way, and I don't like roaches.

My neighbor uses a pest control company that advertises as more eco friendly.  I'm not sure the name of it, but they might have something similar in your neck of the woods.
