Dear Co-Worker...

It's bachelors degree, or in some circles, baccalaureate degree.

If you say bachelorette degree one more time, I may have to throw my can of almonds at you.

    This!

  • lol, you girls crack me up.

At first I thought my co-worker was just being funny... but she's said it, like, six times now (in the past day) and I'm kind of giving her the side-eye.  I mean, we work in a University.... in an office that works with granting and verifying degrees... does she really not know what she's saying?

  • My co-worker says Libary....instead of library....ehhh...

This is why things like this bother me.  If she doesn't really know the correct term, she really shouldn't be working there.  JMO.
    Matt loves Munkii!!!
  • That's bad if she works at a University!  An aquaintance of mine had her bachelorette party last weekend and posted something FB that she was heading out to her baccalaureate party in Vegas.  I think it was the mushy head that comes with wedding planning paired with her graduating the week before so I didn't tease her about it.

(Kristina -- I say libary.  Embarrassed)

Ugh! One of my biggest pet peeves (has been since I was in elementary school).

I have a coworker that says libary...and yes, I work in a library. She is a superior, the only reason I don't correct her.

The bachelorette degree is cracking me up. Is she is a feminist or something?

Not unless that's the only way she expresses it...

  • That is too funny! Annoying, I'm sure... but still funny.

Does she only say it in reference to women? Maybe she thinks men get a bachelor degree and women get a bachelorette degree? Clearly grasping at straws here...
