Ruff

The IL's had their Yorkie stay with us for a week... he just left tonight Sad  He did provide alot of entertainment. So we're thinking about getting a Yorkie for ourselves. I'm trying to have DH hold out until the spring. Nothing like having a puppy in the middle of the winter.

So if you know anyone with Yorkie puppies.................

Re: Ruff

  • This is the same dog that the day we moved into our new house last year... no more than 2 minutes in the house he had to take a sh!t on the basement floor. At least it wasn't in the living room upstairs. Oh boy.
  • My parents have a yorkie. She's almost 10 years old now. She's a grumpy little dog.

Definitely encourage DH to wait until spring. Our chihuahua is having puppies and they'll be 8 weeks old the week before Christmas.

  • So I should be worried when yorkie get too old???
  • No, they're dog is just weird. She's just a grumpy, selfish dog. She was an only dog for a long time and then we got another dog when she was five. She wouldn't let my dog play with any of the toys. Because of that, Re-Pete is now four years old and still doesn't play with them!

I've seen plenty of other yorkies that are older and perfectly happy.
