Naturopathic Dr??
Has anyone seen a naturopathic dr?? I have an appointment tomorrow to try and get my hormones back on track. Let me know your thoughts!! Thanks

I saw one last year to address awful pms, constant headaches & nausea that I was dealing with. Regular doctors just told me I was stressed out or it?s just the way I was.
The homeopathic doc ordered a comprehensive blood test, and then gave me some supplements & a diet to follow based on the results. Within a couple months all the symptoms I was experiencing before were gone. I weaned off most of the supplements (I was taking a lot), & now I just take 1 multi, 1 to support the gut & 1 for the uterus.
Now about a year later, I don?t get nausea anymore, the pms is about 100 times better, and I only get headaches after I?ve eaten too much sugar.
I did recently, for my annual and a few other issues I wanted to see a dr. about. I LOVED my dr. It was seriously the most comprehensive thorough exam I had been to, and I felt like she truly cared about me. I learned things, and came out feeling like she actually would remember me if I went back!

My PCP is a nautropathic doctor, and I adore her! She's really thorough without being creepy. And she explains things as she goes along and why she wants you to try something to see if it will help. I'm always so sad when I leave because I like her so much and I want to be BFFs. : )

My health insurance does not cover it, but my flex spending plan does. I was reimbursed for 100% of every bill (including supplements) from my flex plan.
Follow up.. had a very long and productive appt today and also had my blood drawn for several hormone balance tests, iron, thyroid.. all the goodies. Anyways I really like him and he thinks he can get me up and running soon. : ) He sent me home with some progesterone cream and wants to see me in 2 weeks when the tests come back!!
Very positive experience so far!!
p.s. I didnt bother with the insurance because they only cover part of the lab tests and he gave me a cash discount because he drew the blood there!
My nail lady is my go-to person, and she's the one who told me about the naturophatic clinic we go to.
Have you checked either of the following sites? My doctor is not listed on the first one, but is on the second so they must get some of their info from different places.
