Am I being paranoid or is this not a good sign
So I'm waiting to hear back on next steps from an "important phone call" I had late last week. I was told that I should know by June 18, this Friday because she is meeting with someone else to discuss the phone calls. I haven't heard back yet.
Also, I sent a TY email/list of references the evening following the phone call and didn't get a response.
My H says this just means the person is busy and has lots going on. I wonder if it means she is not impressed with me. Care to offer an opinion?

Hmmm. Hard to say. It could very well be that she's busy or still weighing the decision - not necessarily that she's not impressed with you.

Well...there's still 4 days to go before June 18. My opinion is that she gave you a date and still has plenty of time left to fulfill that promise.

Tee hee - your mention of it being like dating reminded me of when I was waiting to first hear from Andy. His phone was broke so I couldn't call him and didn't know if he'd call me or what he felt about me yet. I wanted to blow up his inbox too. As I contemplated whether or not to make the first move, he sent me an email and I was forever happy. Hopefully your work story has a similar happy ending.
Such a cute story. I love it when things remind me of those first few dates with L. I just had that happen over the weekend, actually.
Hopefully the work story ends happily, too!
