I'm with you on wishing it was Friday! We are supposed to get our wedding photos tomorrow or Thursday. We had been told that we would get them last week, but the night that they were promised to us, our photographer emailed begging for an extension. I am hoping that we actually get them this week.

I'm actually wishing the opposite, as my vacation ends Friday. Boooo!
I have just been dealing with graduation and finals and such. Also, I had a job interview. Didn't get the job, but hey, a job interview 2 days after graduation isn't something to scoff at (right?).
Other than that, me and DH have been exploring Seattle restaurants and such as part of our "stay at home" honeymoon!

In short: Bad few days.
I've spent the last few days helping some friends pack up their house. Made for a super sad day today. They've been fantastic friends (one of them planned our HM for us as his gift to us and coordinated last minute flight changes, etc. in Vietnam and they did all of the flowers for our wedding). Last night we had a true slumber party with mattresses on the floor in the master bedroom, which was the only room that hadn't been cleaned and sanitized. Apparently, I snore. Both friends are leaving the country for at least one year but more likely two years so they rented their house out. One is going to London and his bf to Scotland. Super sad.
My BFF is getting married on Saturday, but I'm only invited to part of the wedding. I'm pretty livid about the whole thing and DH wasn't invited to anything. This would be my FIRST full day with DH since March. Festivities start at 11 and dinner reservations are at 8:30. According to his email, I'll "have from about 2:30 until 8:30 to do whatever you'd like." Anyone remember the conversations we all had on TK about breaks between wedding and reception?! FWIW, she doesn't know what he is planning.
I got home this afternoon and our dog had been sick EVERYWHERE. Both types of unhappiness. Tomorrow I'll be steam cleaning our whole house.
Sorry I'm such a Debby Downer tonight. I'm grumpy/sad/irritated and feeling pretty darn crappy.
In the good news department.... we went out to dinner and had a nice meal. I think both of us will sleep well tonight.
Well, I'm glad for the good posts and sad for the not so good posts. Not sure I'd be in such a good mood myself, SpceCadet, if I was dealing with everything you are.
I'm just incredibly busy with this new job that I don't have time to see straight. I'm going tomorrow night to get a mani/pedi with MIL and SIL, so that'll be fun. Then, Sunday, I'm cooking Father's Day lunch for FIL since MIL and SIL will be flying back into town and I have to desire to see my own dad. (Long story.)
It'll just be super busy again!
I must make an addendum...
It ends up the cousin's funeral is Saturday, so that just got added to the plans. We were planning on going to Dallas soon to visit everyone (and because DHs mom and sister keep saying they want to rub my bloated belly LOL) so we'll try to make the best of it.

Hey ladies! Things have been busy this past week! I just got back from Calgary, I went for the weekend to visit my BFF. DH's Aunt is visiting us this week from Ontario, which has been great since DH is pretty much gone all the time for football now! His team had their first pre-season game this past weekend, only 2 more weeks until the offical CFL season begins. Our TY cards finally arrived in the mail last night, so I have been working on those. They took over a month to come! Hoping to have them in the mail by the end of the week!

Super busy with work here, getting things done before heading out on Sunday for the honeymoon cruise! Lots and lots to do, but it seems that Murphy is saying what a vacation...here is all sorts of unexpected things to throw at you. Muahahaha
So until Saturday I'll be nose to the grindstone putting out fires.
