tri-cities gals with pets - ever used camp ruff n more

Thinking of taking my little girl there while we are on vacation...Just curious if you have heard anything about them good or bad.

  • Sorry to be late to respond. I boarded my dog Darla there last week and she came back tired. They gave her her stuffed kongs as I asked and I was able to call and ask for an update. We got back a day early and they had no problem letting us pick her up or refunding us for our unused time. I also called ahead of time and asked a lot of questions and Cory the director was very helpful!

  • If you have any more questions, you can page me on Pets. I don't check the TN board often.

  • Thank you very much for your response.  I actually just read it tonight and we just got back from vacation tonight.  My only complaint about it is that she came home with an eye infection.  My mom picked her up and had to have the hair around her eyes cut because they were matted.  Also she had to have the hair cut around her tail b/c it was matted with poo.  I'm a little disappointed because of that.  I'm not sure that we will use them again.

That stinks you didn't like them. I have low maintenance dogs (grooming-wise) so I didn't experience that. I would let them know how you felt about the condition she came back in so that they can try to make improvements for future pets that visit.
