Anyone live near Rock Hill???

My husband and I may be moving from Pittsburgh and we would love to know if this is a great place to live/raise our family.  We've never been to South Carolina and it will be wonderful if you guys could give us some insight on where to live.  My husband's plant is located in Richburg.  Any input will be much appreciated.

 TIA!!

Re: Anyone live near Rock Hill???

  • I lived in Rock HIll for 4 years while going to school and still have a lot of friends up there. It has really grown since I was there and has turned into a city rather than a town. There are lots of new neighborhoods poping up, Winthrop University is there (that's where I went), all and all it is a good place. Fort Mill and Tega Cay are right next door and are a little more expensive, but the whole area is nice. No real complaints, Hope that helps and good luck!
  • Hi!  I live near RH, and my DH's friend works in Richburg.  We live in b/t Fort Mill and Tega Cay.  All 3 towns have easy access to I-77, so I'd rec. any of them.  Let me know if you have any specific questions!
