WDYT - Al Gore Divorcing?
After freaking 40 years of marriage, you mean to say that these two are just giving up?!?! And now, there is talk of cheating?! If he cheated, then more power to Tipper, give him the old heave-ho but otherwise, why divorce after 40 years? I can even understand after 20 years but sheesh!

This one shocked me too! I always thought they looked so connected. I wonder what the deal is. Too much power can do nasty things to people.
I don't know that they are "just giving up". Maybe they have been trying for the last 10 years to make it work and they are just not happy anymore. I think 40 years is something to be proud of, even if it's not forever. I certainly am in no position to judge.

I agree maybe they were working on it for 10 years, who knows right? But I mean they are 60+ if you dealt with whatever it was for 40 years, what makes it so intolerable NOW. Hmmm I just can't figure that out. Maybe I am judgy in this case but just wanted to discuss since this one really took me by surprise.
