I need snack ideas

What is your favorite snack that is not hummus, veggies and dip, or yogurt?   I need inspiration. :)

Adding a Burden

Re: I need snack ideas

  • Cheese and crackers

Banana with peanut butter and honey on a slice of whole wheat

    Fresh cherries

    Watermelon and honeydew

    Chex Mix

    Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • Celery w/laughing cow cheese

I know you said no yogurt - but have you mixed it up w/different mix ins - different cereals, berries, granola, etc.?

Celery, banana, apple, or carrots + nut butter (peanut butter, almond butter, etc.)

Trailmix (make your own w/any combo of nuts, dried fruit, pretzels, chocolate, etc.)

  • This is helpful.  Usually planning meals goes pretty well for me but I always have a hard time with snacks.  Thanks!

  • Take KerCo's bananas , slice them lengthwise, put PB on them, close 'em up, and freeze.  Slice them up and eat.  Y.U.M.

  • Most of my regular snacks were already covered.  I always try to have a protein and carb together at every snack.  For proteins I'll usually choose Greek yogurt, low fat cottage cheese, hardboiled eggs, string cheese, a small handful of almonds, or natural peanut butter.  For carbs, I usually choose fresh or dried fruit, or a small whole wheat bagel or English muffin.
