Now my dad's in the hospital
He was diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier this year an ever since he completed his radiation he sometimes gets extremely lightheaded. Well he passed out at the doctors this morning so they're sending him to the hospital (which he ties very hard to protest!) happy fathers day!
Stacy - how's your dad?

Re: Now my dad's in the hospital
sorry hugs to you and stacy!!
So sorry Kristie!! Lots of thoughts going your way.
Hopefully this isn't like celebrity deaths, when they come in 3's.
I am so sorry to hear that, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
::: hugs :::
Oh no, Kristie....now, I'm sending you hugs!! I hope he's ok!!! Is he free of cancer since his radiation?
Thanks for asking about my Dad. He's doing better. They might do a procedure to strengthen the walls of his lungs. Luckily there are no diseases in either lung (he's so luck with smoking since he was like 12 and he's almost 58). He's still in quite a bit of pain from the tube but he might get out tomorrow.
I'm so sorry Kristie! T & P's are with you!
::hugs::
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
Aw, Kristie, I'm so sorry to hear that! I hope he's ok. :-/ Keep us posted.
Stacy -- so glad to hear your dad is doing better!
Oh no! How scary I hope the doctors get it figured out soon.
My dad is also a prostate cancer survivor. He had grade 4 and a complete prostatectomy (sp?) about 10 years ago. He's been cancer free since then. It was scary as heck, but this disease is completely beatable.
