Weaning myself off theknot...

I'm a newly wed!  yay!  I'm also wondering if a I have a problem (nothing life threatning of course.)

I can't seem to stay off the theknot and the local bride boards.  Is there something wrong with me? It's almost three months, and I can't help posting about recommendations and such.  I keep trying to come over here to the nest and thank goodness I found the same sex household.  That at least helps me feel a little more normal. (The baby talk freaks me out.  No offense to parents, I'm just saying for me... eekkk).

 So, will I eventually be able to pull away?

lol, eventually you will be able to pull away. My other favorite boards over here are money matters & family matters.  MM has a good group, and there tends to be a good amount of non-money chatter to balance things out.

Alas, I've been married much longer than you, and still check back on The Knot often.  Maybe we need a twelve-step group?  Which Knot board shall we put it on?  Oh, wait...

Welcome to the other side... LOL I still find myself stalking the knot, but I replaced it with more time on the nest. I do think we need the 12 step program.

I don't think you should be worried. I just liked theknot when I was planning so that I could use the check lists and get ideas. It was also great to network and get referrals for wedding vendors.

Nah, I wouldn't worry about it.  I have the same problem, and we've been married for over 2 months now.  If it continues for a few years, then I'd be concerned.
