Anniversary Trip?

Did you or are you going on a 1st anniversary trip? If so, where did/are you going? We know we want to go somewhere but not sure where yet! I would love to go somewhere tropical again (back to St Thomas, maybe Cancun, etc) but I'm also thinking about maybe going to Vegas or something less expensive!

We're going on a Mexican Riviera cruise in January to celebrate our FA. I'm not sure where you live, but for us since we live in SoCal (well CA in general) it's a really economical vacation since we don't have to fly anywhere. I'm soooo excited & just can't wait for it to be here already! lol.

we where planning on going on one.  then we had a wedding to go on.  yep, our first anniversary we spent at a wedding.  then we said we will do something for our second.  nope, we are heading to SA for my 10 year.  we are shooting for our 3rd.

We wanted to go back to Siesta Key for our one year, but that didn't happen because there was no money plus DH started a new job, not to mention we bought a house, lol! Right now we are saving up for our big Japan trip next year in April. It will be too early to count as a second year anniversary trip, oh well.

We are trying to plan a "graduation" trip which will probably be in Feb. It's a little early go call it an anniversary trip since it will be 9 months after our wedding. We both want to celebrate graduating college although we are going to both be continuing on with our education.  We have NO idea where we want to go... all inclusive or cruise... Either way we will call it an early anniversary trip, and go for longer then we normally would for just a vacation....

No anniversary trip for us. I had thought about but then decided to save the money and put it towards a house. However we're now attending a wedding january in Maui. So I made it a 10 night trip and it's our anniversary/Christmas present to each other so it'll be our 1 year and 2 months trip!

We are hoping to go back to GC for our 1 year.  It really depends on his school sched and my job.

DH just got the time off, so if I get mine approved we are going to Ireland. We've always wanted to go and we figured we better go now that we don't have kids than later when I lives get more complicated.

We are hoping to go back to Puerto Vallarta for our 1 year, but if DH's job won't let him have the time off we may do a long weekend in Vegas instead.

We're going on a cruise (see ticker)!  We're going with a bunch of friends and it just happened to fall on our anniversary.  We actually leave the same day we left for Jamaica.

We had high hopes of taking a cruise back to Bermuda but we spent a lot of money last year with the wedding that it didn't pan out.  We're shooting for next year   For our 1 year (last week) all we did was go to Baltimore, MD and walk around and visited some shops. Nothing fancy, but it was nice spending the day with him because he works 2 jobs and I hardly get to see him. I think we're going to go to some local wineries too (maybe next weekend).

We purposely got married during our time share week out in Vegas to cut on cost of finding a place to stay for ourselves.  So, even though our week has slightly changed and we weren't there on our exact day, we were still out in Vegas for a week around that time.  So, I guess, the short answer would be yes
