Well, as some of you know, I went to see a Naturopathic Dr. to talk about fertility.
He ran a bunch of blood work to test my white & red blood counts for cancer, cervical cancer, my thyroid, sugar for diabetes, Vitamin D, iron, progesterone and a few other things, I think.
Well, I went back last night for my results....
All my levels came back good, Thank God, except my iron which was REALLY low and my Vitamin D levels (who would have thought when we live in the Valley of Sun lol). These are the two easiest ones to fix.
No cancers, diabetes, thyroid issues, etc. I'm so thankful.
So, I'm now taking Iron and more Vitamin D and some Chinese herb. (Fu Ke Zhong Zi Wan, which means Women's Seed Planting Pills in English haha).
I'm excited and very hopeful. I go back in 3 months to get my levels checked again to see if they've gone up.
If it doesn't happen this month, then we are definitely getting DH's SA done.
Re: Dr. Update
Oh I'm so glad everything came back clear! Keep us posted, I'm praying this is your month Stac!
And surprisingly there are a lot of people in AZ with Vitamin D deficiency, go figure.
PS - Did you tell Chris to start eating mucho yogurt (lol)?
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
Sounds like great news!
What naturopathic doc did you see? Both my sister and I are looking for one but don't know where to even start looking.
Having t-ttc sucks. It took us a long time to get pregnant, and we needed some help. It's amazing to me how common this is
Sorry about that. Stupid Nest!!!
So, yes, it's VERY sad how many people have TTTC! :-(
I went to Theo Christodoulakis www.onegooddoctor.com
He's in Chandler at Chandler and Alma School. Pretty expensive but worth a shot....if their levels are off, that could def. be a reason they are having trouble. Vibes their way too!!
