TGIF
Is everyone looking forward to the hot weekend ahead? I know I am. I wish I could say I am spending it all at the beach but that is not the case. Tomorrow we are picking up a new dining room table, getting that set up, and probably doing a bunch of other stuff around the house as well. We also might go visit some friends for a few hours. Sunday is Father's day so I'm going where ever my dad is. Depending on his tee time I might get a few hours in the sun before we all get together. I am going to resort to self tanner soon because my legs are seriously blinding and it is not flattering at all.

Yet another reason to be grateful for my recent Greece trip--managed to get a little color, though it seems to be fading faster than usual. I'm not looking forward to the heat but getting some sun will be nice.
Have fun with the new furniture! I love getting new stuff for the house; I'm such a dork.
Still getting into the new house, so we're unpacking, hanging curtains, etc.
DH leaves Monday for 2 weeks
No, we found a little rental house with 3 bedrooms (one is a small office and one nursery). I wanted to get a place with a backyard for the dogs. Go figure, neither wants anything to do with the yard. Foster peed in it last night. Pit Bull is scared of it and will not venture out past the deck. She is like, "I wait for mumma to leash me and walk me so I can potty like a proper city bred dog."
It's been....interesting.

I plan to spend the entire day tomorrow in the water. Between the heat and my achey body, I hope it will be the bliss I am imagining!
We're going to be in Maine for the weekend, but Sunday we're stopping by the ILs to see FIL, then dinner at my parents' to give my dad his gift.
The heat index was 114 Sunday-Wednesday though! I don't want to leash her up and walk her 6 times a day so she can pee! lol
