dirty shower - gift help!

Hi ladies,

I am attending a dirty shower tomorrow, being held before the bachelorette party. We have been asked to bring a pair of panties, and the bride to be has to guess who brought them.

I have never been to any thing like this. The mother of the bride is very classy, and will be in attendance, so I do not want to offend her family. Is it lame to get a pretty pair vs a raunchy pair? Or do you think raunch is what I am supposed to get here?? Sorry.. silly questions! Thanks ladies!!

Honestly, the bride is more likely to actually wear a pretty pair, as opposed to leather crotchless panties, KWIM? I'd go with pretty; you can still get lacy and sexy w/o being raunchy. Plus, I'd want to keep the bride's embarrassment level as low as possible since there will be parent(s) in attendance.

If the bride is supposed to guess who brought which pair, I would go for something the bride would assume you would pick/bring. Is there a favorite color you're known for (like, were your wedding colors purple and white? Find a purple and white pair), or some silly joke you share (inside joke about penguins? Find some with penguins)? That way it's cute/fun rather than totally embarassing.

I just went to a bridal shower like this & it was totally fun - not dirty/embarrassing at all.  just find something fun/cute or sexy/lacey & you are all set!!

Ditto whoever said bring a pair that's easier for her to guess it's you who bought them.  But don't get too personal--you don't want her thinking of you every time she puts on (or takes off) her undies!
