I think I'm addicted...

to knitting... I have finished one scarf for me, one for macabean (I was practicing binding off and it was the perfect size :-), a pot holder, and have three other  projects started a wrap for the office, and two scarves. I also have a bag full of yarn and a list of projects I want to work on... I can't stop thinking about it, I do it every free second I can... I LOVE IT!!!!.... is it wrong?

Re: I think I'm addicted...

  • wanna make me a soft and cuddly scarf? :P
Move along, nothing to see here.....
  • oooh, I don't know. If I wear it all the time, maybe something to not clash with my blue/yellow winter jacket? If I wear it for special things, I just have a black peacoat so it could be any color (I love purple).

    I'm excited!

  • OMG just last nite i was looking into learning how to knit!  there was a link on the joann fabrics website for  knitting tutorial.  do you have any good ideas/resources for a beginner (ie. i dont even own a needle yet)?
  • My mom taught me using US Size 11 needles and just some cheap yarn (I love this yarn brand I believe) and then I just went from there... I like larger needles because they are quicker and I'm busy like crazy... I would also suggest youtube because there are tons of good videos that show you how and then once you know the knit and purl stitches (really I've only been using knit stitch thus far... ) you can do anything!!!!
  • I would love to learn how! Maybe I should check into JoAnn Fabrics...
