ob/gyn recommendations?

I know this is frequently asked, but with the new(er) layout, I can't find an old post.  I'm looking for an ob/gyn that also has privileges at Olathe Medical Center since we will be TTC in the coming year or so. TIA!

Re: ob/gyn recommendations?

  • I see Dr. Curry at St Lukes South, but I dont know if he works at Olathe Medical.
  • I see Dr. Tami Michele with Arbor Creek OB/Gyn and she delivers at OMC.  I love her!!!!  I've been through a couple docs prior to her and she is absolutely the best.  She is more naturally minded though, but of course will let you do an epidural if you like.  Just wanted to throw that out.  :)

I have a friend who works at OMC and she says a lot of her friends see Dr. Bavishi and they all like her.

     Hope this helps. :)

  • I see Dr. Douglas MacFarlane.  I absolutely adore him and his staff.  He has privs at OMC.  He is really open to discussing all options and who I began with when discussing infertility.  He also did my laparoscopy back in April.  My DH even likes him which doesn't mean a whole lot, but he felt safe with him doing my surgery.
  • I used Dr. Casey Tramp and loved her! She is actually a primary dr. but is able to do OB. What makes it even better is she can be the pediatrician too! She really takes the time to care. A few times during my prenatal appts I would bring my now 3 year old, and she always took time to talk to her and try to explain whats going on , and would let her help use the doppler to hear the baby. I work prn at OMC and a lot of employees really like her and are starting to use her too.

I also hear great things about Dr. Bavishi

    Hope this helps
