Best way to meet new people
I'm new in the area, and have found that weekends can be pretty boring when you don't know anyone. Are there any ways that you girls suggest to get to know more people in the Madison area?

Hi! Welcome to Madison! I've found the best ways (for me anyway) to meet people here was through jobs and through church. Also, my college has a great alumni association here which has hooked me up with people. I also joined an ultimate frisbee league this summer and that was great too (although it was a stretch for me to join a team that I knew NO ONE on!). I know alot of people do volleyball leagues or bowling leagues that are good too. I think it's especially tough to meet people who aren't college age, since this is such a big college town. DH and I don't really go out to bars and drink so much, so I can't tell you much about that scene.
Where are you living in town? Where are you working?
