My daughter and I are in a wedding this weekend and after her dress was on back order for WAY TOO LONG, I ordered a new one. I received confirmation that it had been delivered last Thursday, so I rush over to pick it up, tear open the box, and......theres NO DRESS! WTH?!?! Just a fuscia sash in a big box. Obviously I called IMMEDIATELY and the women helping me was so confused, that I had to keep repeating myself. She finally got it and says to me " that means someone ordered a fuscia sash and didn't get it", REALLY? They said they would ship it again, but now I'm a little worried it won't be here by wednesday. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Call back and tell them it needs to be here by Wed. as you are leaving town for the wedding that day. Or ask them to mail it the Mo so you have a little more time.
Where did you order it from?
What kind of bride are you dealing with here? Is she laid back, where you can you go buy something off the rack from Davids or Pennys? Or is she a bridezilla (in which case I have no suggestion)?
What kind of dress was it? Simple or full of detail and specific colors?

I called back 4 hours later and she said that they had already mailed it. I was planning on asking them to overnight it, but too late. I told her it has to be here by Tuesday! We're leaving Weds. night and I wanted a full day to go shopping for a new one if I had to.

The bride is my cousin and she's not a bridezilla, so I'm sure she would be ok with anything. I just really wanted the dress we ordered because it resembles the brides dress and the sash is the exact color of the bridesmaid dress. It's super cute and Kaylee helped pick it out. I'm really crossing my fingers.
If it's not here by tomorrow I will definitely be getting my money back! UGH! I'm trying not to freak out....it's not working can ya tell. lol
