Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. My husband and I got married on May, 8 in Chandler at the Basha Residence. And of course, it was the wedding of my dreams.
We moved here a week after our honeymoon In a whirlwind of circumstances. 7 days before our wedding, both my husband and got laid off from our jobs and, in the same day he was offered a new one here in Chandler. So after our honeymoon we had two days to pack up everything we owned and drove across the country! And now here we are!
Hope to get to know a few of you soon! Bye!
Re: hello, there....
WOW! Crazy times!!
Welcome!!
Congrats! Thats pretty crazy! It was 2 weeks from the time we found out we were moving here, to the day my husband started work. In a way, I think it was good that it happened so fast because I didn't have time to think about it. I hope you like it here!
Welcome!
wow! What a crazy month for you! When DH & I moved here last year, it was also a bit of a whirlwind. But, like MrsDWeb said, I think it was a blessing in disguise. Less time to 2nd guess ourselves!
Welcome!
We moved from Wilmington DE. About 15 minutes south of Philadelphia.
It was a very hard decision because I am in the middle of clinicals as a nursing student. And if any of you are familiar with nursing school getting into a program is extremely hard and competitive. And after waiting so long and work so hard the last thing I wanted to do was lose everything I've done and get wait listed at some other school over here. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that if God brought us this far that he must have a plan for me too.
It has been a VERY crazy month to say the least. And the adjustment from there to here has been big but the dust is finally starting to settle and I'm starting to get used to it. I think once I get into a school here, start working again, I will really feel like I've gotten back into my groove.
Thanks for all your welcome wishes!
Welcome! I'm from Upstate NY and my husband is from CA but he was stationed in Dover, DE while in the Air Force.
We moved here 13 months ago and we love it. You should come to our next GTG! They are lots of fun and the girls are great!
Hi and welcome!
AZ seems to be the state that everyone relocates too, haha! We moved here from MA almost a year ago! It's pretty great so far!
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
