1. Where you are located? Well, I live in DC, but I'll answer for Winston-Salem! (Hopefully all these places are still open!)
2. Best BBQ? Growing up we always loved Little Richards, but now my sis and BIL always go to Bibbs (full disclosure, we are friends with the owners).
3. Best Breakfast and/or Brunch? Midtown Cafe or Village Tavern
4. Best burger? I don't eat burgers, so I don't know!
5. Best Italian? Fancy - Paul's; not fancy - Vincenzo's
6. Best Japanese? The sushi place in Thruway. I can't remember the name.
7. Best Mexican? I love Mi Pueblo and La Caretta equally, I go to whichever one is most convenient to where I am/where I'm going/where my friends want to meet up.
8. Best New Restaurant? I haven't really been anywhere new on my recent visits.
9. Best Pizza? I'd have to say Burke St. Pizza; I think my other faves are closed.

Best pub - Alexander MichaelsDisclaimer--I really try to avoid chain restaurants and think it's a kind of an oxymoron when one is considered the "best" in an area. Sorry...I'm just too loyal to the local restaurant community to ever prefer a chain over something local.
