What do you snack on?

I am trying to revamp my bad eating habits. (slowly bu surely) What are some good snack ideas? I get so tired of the same old, same old. Here's what I have in the rotation already...

almonds, wheat thins, fruit, Peanut butter...

Thanks for the help!

Re: What do you snack on?

  • I mainly snack on almonds and peanut butter, which you listed.  You can maybe add yogurt, trail mix and fresh veggies to the mix.

  • I snack on:

    Grapes

    Cherries

    Graham crackers and yogurt

    carrot sticks

    Pita chips and hummus

    trail mix

    100 cal popcorn

Mini vanilla wafers w/ peanut butter

    string cheese and apple slices

    mini rice cakes

    Watermelon

    Cantalope

Blueberry, raspberry, banana smoothie (add vanilla fat free yogurt)

  • Fresh fruit salad, carrots and hummus, yogurt (I like plain and mix in dried cranberries and almonds), apples and peanut butter, sliced cucumber with lime squeezed over it and sprinkled with chili powder, various veggies with ranch for dipping, but that is not so nutritious. ETA: HEB rotisserie chicken salad on vegetable crackers - SO good, but its too easy to eat way too much.
  • My current favorites are (these could also be separated):

Pita chips and one laughing cow cheese wedge

Honey flavored greek yogurt, fresh strawberries, and kashi go lean granola

    My old stand-bys are:

    Almonds

    Dried cherries

    fresh fruit

    low fat nilla wafers

  • -turkey ( love protein)

    -94% fat free popcorn
