yesterday I ran into an old friend...
About 4-ish years ago I went to culinary school. I made a few friends who I am still friends with now. One of my friends, P, I ended up losing touch with. Busy lives headed in different directions. I always wondered what she was up to.
Well yesterday I went to Albertsons to get stuff for dinner. I couldn't find everything I needed so I ended up having to go to another grocery store - Fresh & Easy. Smack in the middle of the dairy aisle I ran into P! We ended up chatting & catching up for about 20 minutes. She's engaged now & getting married next Spring. She said that she wanted to do a DW but she doesn't know if her immediate family can come & that's a deal breaker for her.
I thought it was an interesting twist of fate. I almost always shop at F&E, but yesterday I went to Albertsons first instead. If I had gone to F&E like I normally do, I never would have run into P.
That's it! I was just excited & wanted to share.
