XP: Before and After PIPs

We used to have 3 tall trees in our front yard.  DH and I cut down the 2 front trees and left the side one.  The 2 front ones were under the firepit, and on the right side where the white chairs are.  We just applied stump killer, filled in with dirt, and planted grass seed on top, about 3 months ago, and the grass has now completely filled in.

Long story short, we decided to do Arbor Vitae plants along the street and the driveway, I found a local company that sells 5' plants for $15 each, we paid $50 for them to deliver them, and $80 for them to plant them, and the grand total was ... $355!

I am THRILLED with how it turned out.  I love it.

This is the view looking out my front door...

It's still a work in progress, we are going to get some bark dust to line the yard, and plant some more flowers, etc...

I love looking at everyones before and after pics, so just thought I'd share!
