Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Taking a trip!
I bought a plane ticket last night to go to St. Louis for a long weekend in July! One of my best friends from college lives there, so I'm going to go stay with her (and her husband and four kids in a small, 3-bedroom house...it's going to be chaotic and wonderful).
I've told you guys about my college girlfriends before, I think. There are 5 of us that were pretty much inseperable back then, and we're still all close. Well, another of the group is actually this friend's SIL, and she's already thinking of visiting her family in STL the same weekend (with her baby who was born June 6th). So the other two are thinking of doing a roadtrip from Ohio and coming out, too! So all 5 of us might get to hang out together for a long weekend! I'm so excited!
I know that it will be hard in a sense, since Jane has her 4 kids and Rachel will bring her 4-month old (leaving the other 3 with her parents, since her H will be out of the country) and Shannon will bring her baby. But at least I'll get a "baby fix," and I'm going to love that awesome girl time with these girls who are the closest thing I have to sisters.

Oh, and I just learned last week that I have 5 vacation days I have to use before July 31st or they expire. Wish I'd known that when we were going to Denver!
