Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Grandma Update
So despite what the doctors said - we got here and hospice helped us get grandma home to my aunts house and by the time I left she was up and walking (with a walker).They're telling us not to get our hopes up - if all we have is this week it was an amazing week. They're saying she might have 3-5 weeks, but when we got here it was 3-5 days and the thought she'd be on life support by the time I arrived- so who knows, she's stubborn enough to prove them all wrong. It was wonderful to be able to talk to her and laugh and know that she knows we came. She was so surprised to have all of her kids together again, my father made his peace with them which is really what I think he needed, of course we had some drama (drunk uncle) but all in all it was really good.
It was wonderful to spend father's day weekend w/ my dad. We went hiking in Tahoe, took a drive to Reno and had lunch in Old Sacramento. I'm really glad we came.
Now I'm stuck in the airport hoping to make it home by 11pm, but it sounds more like I'm going to end up getting stuck somewhere.
