Thanks for welcoming me back! Not much has changed since 3 years ago. Well, we bought a house, DH got laid off, DH found a new job that he hated, I decide I'm no longer anti-baby & baby fever goes into overdrive, DH found a new job & we moved 3 states away, sold our house (yes, unfortunately in that order), & now although DH would prefer to push TTC out until December, he agreed to compromise & start next month

Phew, it sure seemed like a lot less when I first started typing that. What have you guys been up to??

My life mostly  has involved changing screen names and deaths.

Was: Lawchic513.  Then Became: French526.  Finally stuck with: HokieLaw.

Lost: FIL, BIL, 2 aunts, 1 uncle, 1 honorary grandmother, 2 grandmothers of close friends, 1 great aunt in law,1 friend.   

Moved into a new home, got two dogs and another cat.  Oh, and MH finally got out of the military and moved home. 

That stuff did not happen in that exact order...

I got PG on our honeymoon, built a house, moved in right before Christmas 2007, had DS 5 weeks early in January 2008, passed the CPA exam in September 2009 and I think that's it.

Nothing horribly exciting going on with me. Thinking about starting TTC in the next few months or so.  Have to wait so I'm not on maternity leave during tax season again (I personally wouldn't mind but a few of those that rely on me might).

Lets see DH got a job here in MN so we packed up and moved from Ohio to here which was very hard to do but the best for us. Then some other things occured and we started trying for our first baby. It took 14 months before we finally were expecting. I had numerous complications and spent 7 weeks on bedrest. Then i was induced only to have a c section 20 hours later. Our precious baby boy was born in february and then the next month we closed on our first house. Oh and i will finally graduate with my bachelors in December.

The past three years sound very eventful.  Good luck with TTC.  After trying unsuccessfully to get pg, we started going through infertility treatments.  We have two girls, Sofia and Ava, and they will be one next Tuesday.  When they were exactly 5 months old, we got a surprise and found out we are expecting again.  Both pregnancies have been hard and on and off bedrest.  My due date is August 9th and we are expecting another girl.  We are going to try for a boy in two years.  I am a SAHM.

Yay for coming out of lurking!!

We started TTC about 6 months after the wedding.  DH left my parents family business in the summer of 08 in a not so pleasant fashion.  He had foot surgery the end of that summer.  His recovery was twice as long as it was supposed to be and therefore made getting another job very difficult.  He was also having many problems with his foot so he was limited on what he could do.  We had a miscarriage in October 08.  He started his own company February of 09.  That kept him busy but no benefits, no steady paycheck, working any day any time so he kept looking for a job and started attending night classes.  We had another miscarriage October 09.  He just got a full time job with lots of benefits 3 weeks ago.  All this while I've continued to work for my parents and am going back to school in the fall.  As of right now we plan on starting IUI treatments next month or as soon thereafter as we are able.  So if you have any TTC questions feel free to page me.

Where did you move to in North Carolina?  I may be close to you if you are in western NC.  Oh and my knot name was NRVBride.

Wow you guys have had a busy 3 years! Quite a few of us were effected with layoffs so I'm happy to hear YH found a new job!

2 months after the wedding we got a puppy, Toby. Then in Sep of 08 I got pregnant with Declan. Had him in June of 09 and he just turned one on 6/13. We moved into a new house in May of this year. I lost my job in Jan of 09 but was lucky enough to find another one right away...and then a 2nd one which I'm currently in right after that (the 2nd new job is more what I wanted to be doing).

I've moved twice but all in the same state. I got a doggy (Frankie) in Feb. 08, had a m/c Jun of 08, got PG again in Feb 09 and then had our daughter Emily Sept. 09.

I used to be Brewsterbride. We moved to Maine 4mo after the wedding and got pregnant a month later and a month after that found out that we were having twins. I am working for LL Bean at night and stay at home with my girls during the day. They will be 2 a week from today. I don't post nearly as much as I would like but I try to check in here daily.
