Yodel! I have to work all week (at a place with no internet-OMG I might die) and a family friend is watching the ladies part of the times. I want to get her a thank you present. Ideas? Maybe something besides the go to restaurant gift card? They are an older couple-not crazy old though
Sorry to run in and out--missing you all
Re: Quickie Advice
I love Stacy's idea. You could do a basket with a "theme" to it. Either DIY treat or you could buy lots of ingredients and make it pretty.
I've had a pasta basket given to me before... It was super nice!!
i like the basket idea too but what about something more personal like a salon or spa gift card...maybe like a massage envy card or a gift card for a mani/pedi - im sure even old ppl like 'me' time
Gift baskets are always such great gifts, they are so pretty and exciting.
What about a wine and cheese basket? You could buy some vino, cheese, crackers, some salami and olives, oh and maybe some figs or dates? You could even get a pair of cheapy wine glasses from the $1 store.
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
I was going to suggest a nice bottle of wine, if they're wine drinkers. I think this basket is a really cute idea, especially with the cheap glasses thrown in. Then again, I have a thing for dollar store wine glasses.
My friend, you would love the Ikea wine glasses.
