Suggestions?

I know its a LITTLE early to be thinking about next years vacation lol but I was wondering if you girls knew of any nice oceanfront hotels in North Myrtle Beach, SC? Thats where HH and I want to go next year but we definitely have to have an oceanfront room.

Let me ask Adam.  He loves Myrtle Beach and he convinced his boss to go on vacation there while we were on our HM so they wouldn't miss much work.

Ok, just talked to Adam.... he said his boss stayed at "Seawatch".  Said they paid $139 a night... all beachfront rooms... 3 lazy rivers at the hotel.  He didn't mention the quality of the place, so I would definitely get on tripadvisor.com and check out reviews and whatnot.

I don't know much about Myrtle Beach, but I don't think it's too early to think about next year's vacation.  We've been researching next year's vacation since we got back from the honeymoon.  Nothing wrong with it.  :-)

Thanks stu! I'll check it out! I found the Sands Ocean Club Resort, ocean front rooms for an average of $102.32 a night on expedia but I'm going to keep checking around.

 Buckeye, we have to! We were talking about next years vacation while we were still on our honeymoon! lol

My family has a house in North Myrtle-- it's absolutely WONDERFUL down there and I know you'll have a great time

We do love it! HH proposed at Surfside Beach so we were thinking about going back there, we just wanted to check other places first. We stayed at the Holiday Inn at Surfside, it was nice but we would like to get something a little further north if possible.

There is nothing wrong with thinking about your vacation for next year! We have been doing the same thing and we are even thinking of sneaking down to OBX for a 4 day weekend soon and then a week in October! Probably going to rent a house in OBX for our anniversary next year too!

Can you tell we LOVE it down there?!

i guess b/c i live here and used to go every summer umpteen millions of times, i hate myrtle beach....its dirty. i guess it depends on what you are going for. there is plenty of partying but it is also pretty redneck. if you wanting something nice, quiet and relaxing i would try to go further north.....sunset beach, ocean isle, oak island, holden, bald head island, wrightsville

also try hilton head, sc or the outer banks...i have never been to either of these but have heard great things

I've been to the outer banks and I loved it! HH has never been before and I do want to go sometime. I think I'll check on hotels there to.

I love Myrtle Beach, but it has been 5 years since I have been so I don't remember where we stayed. I don't know if HH and I will do a vacation next summer except maybe a couple camping trips.
