Honey / FAQs etc

I was at the dentist today and the receptionist was talking with some people that just started beekeeping.  They were saying how the FDA just approved it for medicinal use, that it is the only food that doesn't go bad, and that honey found in the ancient pyramids is still good for consumption.

It always amazes me when the FDA approves natural products (yay!).

Here is some quick into I just googled -

Re: Honey / FAQs etc

  • I've never tried the manuka honey, but I'd really like to. I haven't really had any opportunity, which is of course a good thing!

  • I've been eating 2 tsps of bee royal jelly every day to boost my fertility. It is mixed w honey and pollan and it tastes really good too!
  • Neat!  I've been buying local honey for several years now.  It's really help with my allergies.  The low dose of the pollen in your area helps your body build up antibodies.  Plus it's delicious.  We often have big entree salads topped with chicken and honey-mustard dressing.  Yuuummm.
