I saw this convo going on around a national board a while back and I had forgotten about it until us bham girls had our gtg on saturday. So, I was wondering...
Do you have an idea in your head of what certain nesties around here look like/act like irl?
If you've been to a gtg, were you surprised by what you saw or how they were in person?
Have you ever accidentally run into a nestie in person and 'known' them by their picture?
You don't have to name names or anything... I was just curious

Do you have an idea in your head of what certain nesties around here look like/act like irl? After meeting them, it's easier to picture the nestie when reading their post.
If you've been to a gtg, were you surprised by what you saw or how they were in person? Not really, given that most have siggy pics or pics in their bios.
Have you ever accidentally run into a nestie in person and 'known' them by their picture? I met Stephanie at Target, and only recognized her because Hannah was with her. LOL, I asked "are you Hannah's mom?" like I knew Hannah. :-)

Have you ever accidentally run into a nestie in person and 'known' them by their picture? Not a nestie, a knottie. Sunshine saw me at Bender's Gym in Decatur and was like "are you on the knot?"

It is so hard for me to answer this because I have met so many of you in person...so I already know how most of you look and act. But I guess for those I haven't met IRL...I try not to develop pre-concieved notions about people on here because a lot of times the way someone communicates online is very different from how they communicate IRL...make any sense? I try to just take everyone as they come when we are at a GTG....

A very very long time ago (like 2 years ago now I think), I was a bit shocked by some things that a former nestie said at a small GTG....but that nestie hasn't been around in about 2 years or so...so...LOL I wasn't really offended because it takes a lot, but I was shocked.
Have you ever accidentally run into a nestie in person and 'known' them by their picture? I have run into a few ladies actually...but most of them I had met before at GTG's and such. BUT....I can tell you, because a few of us have ventured to GTG's at each others houses and stuff, that I HAVE recognized people's houses by their bio pics....and THAT is kind of scary... LOL

Have you ever accidentally run into a nestie in person and 'known' them by their picture? i've run into a couple that i "knew" from the nest. once was in a park....i recognized the nesties dog. lol! i kept thinking to myself....i know that dog....looked up and saw the nestie. lol!
Oh, and it surprised me to suddenly see Lauren and her DH on the billboard in Dothan when we drove through awhile back! :-P So pretty!
