s/o dentists
DH and I went to the dentist yesterday afternoon. It was the first we'd gone in about two years.
I had no cavities! Yay! The dentist even remarked that I have "very decay resistant teeth." (I've only had one small cavity in my life...knock on wood.)
Poor DH, though. He has to go get a root canal next week, and maybe a second one a couple weeks later.
We both really like our new dentist, though, which is good! Despite my super healthy teeth, I really hate going to the dentist...anything being done to my mouth just makes me want to cringe. I sit there super tensed up the entire time.

Glad your appt went well! Too bad about your DH, I have been there and it truly sucks (I actually had mine get infected after the root canal and had to have surgery-but my old dentist sucked!)
Its such a nice feeling to find a dentist you like isnt it? I love our new dentist, shes so sweet and tries to make me as comfortable as possible (bc like you I tense up and my BP goes up too!).

I was never afraid of the dentist. It probably helped that my aunt is a hygienist and I was her helper when she was in school.
I have had to have a root canal though and they really suck!
