Downtown hotels?
Hey! Can you guys hook a Houston nestie up? I'm looking for a nice hotel in the midtown/downtown area for a reunion of sorts with some old friends. The W was what I was hoping for but it's listing prices at $300+/night and I don't know if that fits everyone's budget, so less spendy than that but still nice and comfortable... Anything?

Hotel Joule
Magnolia
Aloft Hotel
Fairmont Hotel (they often runs $99 specials on travelzoo, but it's a more traditional hotel)
A little further away from downtown, but still on the DART rail, you'll fiind Hotel Palomar.
